Sad right now!

I called Ember and she tells me that she is not interested in what I was tell her. You know how much that hurt inside. I asked her a question and she didn't answer the question. She needed me to ask the question again. I feel like I don't matter to her much. She must be really mad at me for something. I love her so much. I think about her everyday and wonder what's going on in her life. I want her to call me more often and tell me her life and I want her to be interested in us down here. too. Ok! I am just really sad right now. I hate crying when my kids dismiss you like you are nothing. Oh man ******** How Can I make this up to my Daughter. I think that sometimes she hurts me at times, that I can't handle that. I just can't handle when she push me away. I don't want to interfere in her life, I just want to know how her life is going, so I can be excited with her or sad with her. I want her to share her life's experiences with me and I would like to share my life experiences with her. She is so far away. Maybe I will write a letter to her. Sad after our Phone call and how it went. I will Call her maybe Saturday night! or maybe tonight!

Memorial Day and Honoring those who fought in the Military.

I am just letting you know that my Cameron being a Boy Scout now, asked if he could put a flag on Uncle Mick Grave. So we asked one of the Young Men Leaders, Brother Erickson, in our Ward, if he could barrow one of the Flags that the Scouts puts on everyone front yard and at the Cemetery, to be put on Uncle Mick’s grave. His Scout Leader graciously gave him permission and brought it over to our house, an extra flag. So Cameron got up early on Memorial Day, to run this flag up to the cemetery. When Evening came he wanted to wait until the last possible moment to go back to pick up this American Flag and return it to Brother Erickson, who is in-charge of the flags. Cameron tells me that this is his way of Honoring family members that fought in a War and Uncle Mick fought in the Korean War. Grandpa Lindsay had a teaching opportunity to tell his Grandson, Cameron about honoring those men and women who fought in wars. The night before Memorial Day, Grandpa was up at the cemetery. Cameron and I drove up to the side of Grandpa’s Truck. We headed over to where Grandpa was in the cemetery by the Lindsay Graves on the south side of the cemetery, by the canal. Grandpa decided to have this teaching moment, by telling stories about all his relatives that were buried there. Cameron asked where he could put an American Flag on Uncle Mick’s grave, he couldn't find it. He said that Uncle Mick's grave didn't have a headstone or a flag pole to fly a flag. Grandpa Lindsay was really excited that he could show Cameron where Uncle Mick was buried so that Cameron could post the American Flag on his grave. Grandpa Lindsay did make a comment that: “Where was the flag that Craig had." “It needs to have a flag pool for this flag that Craig was given during Uncle Mick's funeral, so Craig can fly His father's flag in honoring Mick’s Military Service.” Cameron promised that he would get a flag for his grave. Cameron keeps his promises. Cameron does follow through with this promise that he made with Grandpa Lindsay. Cameron doesn’t know Grandpa Lindsay’s brother, Uncle Mick very well but that wasn't the point. There were a lot of things that Cameron learned from his Grandpa Lindsay for Memorial Day and part of which was teaching him about honor and integrity.

Scrapping the paint off the house with Cameron and the Young Men of the Beaver Third Ward.

It is now Thursday. Bro. Black asked about D.J. and how he was doing in his Mission.
I asked the young men to come over as a service project to help me scrape the paint off the house. Bro. Black and Bro. Kesler were supervising. They started on the West Side of the Dad's old house. All the Young Men of the Ward were from age 12 to 15 years old, some of them did very well at working.
But others wanted to play or give another kid a hard time. Some of them were running around not doing anything until someone gave them a small little job. I felt sorry for the leaders trying to keep them busy. Sometime they would lose a little patience with them. I was nudged by one of the leaders to step in and supervise what I wanted done out of the young men. So I started pointing out a few
little jobs for them to do. That went pretty good for a while then they were losing their attention on the job again. Some of the young men worked the whole time and did very well. I was wondering if some of the parents knew how their own sons would be working and acting under someone else's supervision. Cameron worked really well, but I was there. I did not say anything to Cameron though, only to find the family ladder. He spent his time scrapping. I am very proud of him. I kept saying to some of the young men to be kind to each other and try to work together. One of the young men was using Grandpa Lindsay's Garden hoe as a weed whacker and busted the handle in half. I use that hoe all the time. I guess I will have to buy another hoe when we can get enough spare money to buy one. I need to start a small garden out back.
I am not sure if my legs will allow me to do that. I am not walking very well these days. The Bishop showed up and said that they could not finish the job scrapping the house that night. They would have too come back another day. They said they would come back with power tools, like sanders or something like that. I kinda knew that when the boys had pretty much lost all their attention on Scrapping the house. I knew that that would be it for the Day. They all ran over for Drinks and headed to the Truck. The leaders promised a Dutch oven Dinner a Bro. Keslers House afterwards.
Cameron didn't go because he had already eaten at the Funeral in Cedar City.
The Bishop said they would come back on Saturday. Milo will be driving in on Friday
night. So he might be there when the bishop and young men comeback. Maybe
Milo will go outside and help them work on the house with Cameron and the others.
We'll see. Helen said that Kriston has a paint sprayer and she told Kriston that she would use the Trust Money to hire him to Paint the house and fix the Roof.
Kriston asked Zade to fix the roof. We can't get any fire Insurance on the house
until the roof is fixed. So we are sitting here without any Fire Insurance.

I am trying my best to put out a lot of problems that keep coming up. I feel
sometimes overwhelmed with all the problems that come along. They are coming far
too fast for me to handle. I am not working fast enough. Things that get passed me and
I don't catch them quick enough I get into trouble because I didn't handle them quickly enough. Example: the Primary Children's Hospital Bill. I called them and they told me that Milo didn't have to pay anything more to them because I applied for financial assistance and Medicaid covered the rest of the bill, I call the Anesthesiologist bill and the Pediatric Bill and they couldn't find any Record that the Hospital told me that they still think I Still owe the hospital and them. I know I still owe them but how Much?
I need to call both of them today. Just one more thing to do.

On Wednesday I took Cameron and Zade to a funeral in Cedar City. My Great Aunt
Thelma Atkin Holyoak Barber passed away and had her funeral on Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010.
They buried her that day. She was Grandma Arvilla Atkin Gale's Sister. Zade got to meet "Tink" Holyoak and Cullen Holyoak, Aunt Thelma's sons. "Tinks" family runs Napa Auto in Beaver.
I have written D.J. again. I haven't heard from him in a couple of weeks. I hope his is doing just fine.

I still haven't heard from Coltin sense I got his letter telling me that they moved him to Hurricane from Millard County Jail - to the Washington County Jail. I wish I knew what was going on there. If I asked the Officers at the Jail they don't tell me what's happening with him. They tell me that I have to hear it from Coltin.

Zade also went in to the Verizon store in Cedar City to get himself his own Cell Phone Plan. But they have to do a check on his credit. or a Credit Check. He was saying that he will pay for a whole year like $1000.00 and add Ember to his plan. Ember then will pay him $40.00 a month for her part of the bill and if she runs into a problem and can't pay him for a month that ok!
She can make her payment up later to Zade. I have tried to call Ember for a couple of Days now and she isn't retuning my calls. I will try again this evening. I wish I had someone else's phone number to check on her for me. I worry about her.
This all will ease up on your our Phone Bill sense Milo is making way less money now.

Cameron went to Swim Team this Morning and got a new Team Swim Suit.

Ha I need to go for now!

Take care! I will check my Email in a couple of days to see if D.J. has sent an
email.

I need to find a way to end my enteries for this journal.

I love all of my Children and my family and may Husband, Till next time,

Jennifer L. Palmer
